Jonathan became a Researcher at The Work Foundation in April 2011, having joined as a Research Assistant in 2009. He works on both the Cities 2020 research project and the Bottom Ten Million programme and has managed projects in both areas. Jonathan is currently leading our work on youth unemployment.

His research interests include social exclusion and unemployment, skills and the spatial implications of economic change in the UK.

Prior to joining The Work Foundation Jonathan read Geography at the University of Oxford before completing a master's degree in Contemporary Urbanism at the London School of Economics.
