Drivers Shaping the Employment Relationship in the Next Ten Years

Tuesday, 22 June 2010
09:30 - 12:30
The Work Foundation, 21 Palmer Street, SW1H 0AD

Principal Partner Exchange Forum:

Drivers shaping the employment relationship in the next ten years

The Future of HR programme, as part of its examination of the relationship between the employer and the employee ('The Deal'), wanted to get an indication of the drivers likely to affect the employment relationship in the next 10 years. The team used the Delphi Technique employing the expertise of over 20 experts in diverse fields to provide a broad consensus on these drivers. These drivers coupled with selected trend data (population etc.) were then developed into scenarios.

The purpose of the scenarios was to provide a discussion framework for looking at possible futures and where it was practical for organisations to respond. It is not about predicting a specific future.

The aim is to work in a safe space where possible futures and the implications for people management in its broadest sense are explored. The benefit of taking a longer view above the operational imperatives of the present allows participants to view present issues in a different light.

This event is exclusively for principal partners of The Work Foundation and there is no fee to attend.
