Our latest report from our Future of HR programme - The Deal in 2020: A Delphi study of the future of the employment relationship - was launched on 6 July 2010 and is now available to download from our website.

This workshop exclusively for partners with The Work Foundation will be an opportunity to hear the main findings and to discuss the implications for people management (see full details below):

Who should attend?

Directors of Strategy; Directors of HR; Senior Operational Managers; Line Managers; and anyone interested in people management and developments in our Future of HR research programme.

 

Background:

As part of our programme of research into the Future of HR we wanted to explore the drivers that would shape the employment relationship in 2020. What difference would ten years make to the ways in which we work? This was not an exercise in predicting the future, merely an attempt to take into consideration possible future scenarios that could impact the world of work.

To that end, we ran a Delphi study with a panel of experts from diverse disciplines in order to reach a broad consensus of drivers that they thought would shape ‘the Deal’ in 2020.

The Workshop:

The event will cover the findings of the latest research from the Future of HR programme and will provide an opportunity for partners to discuss the implications for people management.

 

Some of the questions that will be explored:

  • What are the trends and factors that will impact the employer-employee relationship over the next decade?
  • What will be the main drivers affecting the way employees work in the future?
  • What are the implications for people management for in the future?
  • What challenges does the HR profession face?
