Physical and mental health- an holistic approach to recovery and intervention

A new report from The Work Foundation - Body and Soul - explores the inter-relationship between long term physical and mental health conditions and the impact of these conditions on productivity and work participation.

Drawing on the findings from this research, this session will examine what good intervention looks like and how employers can ensure they provide it.  Participants will also hear a practical example from the Royal Bank of Scotland on their approach to encouraging positive health and wellbeing at work, with a particular focus on:

  • The impact of the recession
  • Stress management
  • The role of Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs)
  • Flexible working and employee proposition
  • International comparisons
  • The leadership role

  • Amanda Owen, group head of safety, health and wellbeing, Royal Bank of Scotland
  • Stephen Bevan, managing director, The Work Foundation

This is an invitation-only event.  For more information, please contact Louise Shevlane on 020 7976 3503.
