The Context

Will Hutton, Chair of The Work Foundation's Big Innovation Centre, emphasised that innovation is the key to the UK's recovery from the recession and growth over the next ten years. But what kind of leadership is required in UK organisations to deliver that innovation and to drive growth? In the first of a series of events on leadership in collaboration with Lancaster Leadership Centre, The Work Foundation was delighted to host this leadership and innovation breakfast.

Chaired by Lancaster Leadership Centre's Steve Mostyn, the event featured guest speaker Alan South, Director of Innovation at Solar Century, the UK's fastest growing private renewable energy company. Alan was previously practice head at IDEO, the world's premier innovation consultancy.
