09:30 - 12:30
The Work Foundation, 21 Palmer Street, London SW1H 0AD

Speakers

Stewart Barnes, Managing Partner, QuoLux

This is part of a series of LEAD preview sessions.

About the event

As a CEO/ Managing Director, it is not often that you have time to reflect on your role as a leader. The pressures on your time spent in running your business compete with your time spent to develop yourself.

This event was designed to make the delegates think about their role as strategic leaders and what that means. It gave them a CEO’s perspective on the essentials required to grow your business. It identified the critical elements within different functional areas that you need to be on top of to enable growth and introduced some key tools for you to create a road map for your pathway to growth.

The event was a master class delivered by an ex-CEO of a £100 million, multinational, multisite family-owned company, the Hansen Group. Stewart Barnes provided insights into strategic leadership drawing on his own experience as a former main Board Director and CEO. As a high achieving business leader, entrepreneur and a business coach, Stewart’s expertise lies in turning around businesses to become profitable and market leaders within their segments.

The event included a networking lunch where delegates had the opportunity to speak to other like – minded Managing Directors and CEOs of SME organisations. They also had the opportunity to find out more about the LEAD programme due to be launched at The Work Foundation from September 2013.
