Advancing Leadership practice

Advancing Leadership practice

Tuesday, 10 March 2015 - Wednesday, 11 March 2015
14:00 - 17:00
The Work Foundation, 21 Palmer Street, London SW1H 0AD

  • Professor Ken Parry, Visiting professor at LUMS' Leadership Centre and Professor of Leadership at Deakin University (Melbourne)
  • Emma Watton, Senior Teaching Fellow at LUMS' Leadership Centre

Lancaster University Management School (LUMS) and The Work Foundation are jointly piloting a short leadership development workshop. Designed to advancing middle manager capabilities, this workshop will challenge participants with new perspectives to tackle critical organisational challenges that arise during periods of change. The philosophical foundation for the developmental workshop is that leadership is a learnt process related to particular contexts or situations. In essence, everyone can learn how to lead better and the key is to understand how to develop leadership capability.

The one and a half day workshop  will be delivered at The Work Foundation.

Who should attend?
Middle managers within organisations.

This is a paid workshop that is open to The Work Foundation partners only. However, if you are interested in attending and are not a partner, please get in touch with Rohini Bhattacharya on 020 7976 3509 or
