Lancaster University is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Geraint Johnes as the new Director of The Work Foundation as of 1st January 2014.

Professor Johnes said: “I am delighted to be taking on the role of Director at The Work Foundation at a time of profound economic and labour market change. We will use our position, as a leading independent authority on work and its future, to ensure that we can advise on how best to respond to challenges that arise as the economy recovers. In particular, we shall develop further our focus on innovation and productivity, urban labour markets, the employability of young people, and wellbeing at work.”
