This independent report, commissioned by the Department of Culture, Media and Sport, set out to analyse the preferences of British citizens regarding the level of the licence fee, and what services would be most valuable to people in the future. In addition, the report measures the BBC’s ‘public value’ – the extent to which citizens value the corporation.
